Tucked away in the Wasatch Mountains, Hyatt Centric Park City is the only true ski‑in/ski‑out hotel nestled at the base of Canyons Village, just steps away from the brand new 10‑person Sunrise Gondola opening this winter. We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook 3 to join our Culinary team. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in professional cooking who are eager to contribute to a high‑performing kitchen focused on quality, creativity, and consistency.

Seasonal Dates

  • This is a Winter Seasonal position with a tentative start date of December 15, 2025, and tentative end date of April 15, 2026.

Basic Job Duties and Expectations

  • Ability to prepare food according to recipe specifications and food preparation technique, in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Make adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific dietary concerns.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of cooking techniques, including sautéing, frying, broiling, and preparation of stocks, sauces, and soups.
  • Operate and maintain multiple kitchen stations with minimal supervision.
  • Support the culinary team by maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive kitchen culture.
  • Control and minimize waste.
  • Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintain temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) logs as required; and maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of previous line cooking experience, preferably in a fine dining or upscale hotel setting.
  • Culinary degree or relevant hotel/restaurant experience strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of basic and intermediate cooking methods and kitchen operations.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under moderate supervision and take initiative when necessary.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
