This not-for-profit, acute-care facility operates under a 5-physician / 5-CRNA care team model and offers an outstanding opportunity to work within a collaborative, well-supported anesthesia department. Providers will enjoy a balanced caseload, professional autonomy, and the ability to participate in advanced general, regional, and neuro-axial anesthesia techniques. Assignment Highlights: Location: Leominster, Massachusetts Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Call: Beeper call required (weekday & weekend rotation 1:5) Setting: Acute Care / Academic Teaching Hospital Practice Model: 5 MD / 5 CRNA Care Team – Supervision Model Average Daily Staffing: 3 Physicians, 5 CRNAs Late Room Coverage: 2 rooms until 5:30 PM; single provider onsite thereafter Facility Snapshot: Type: Not-for-profit, acute care, teaching hospital Beds: 152 Operating Rooms: 6 Endoscopy Suites: 2 Procedure Rooms: 1 Annual Case Volume: ~5,200 Environment: Academic setting with diverse specialty case exposure Case Mix: Specialties Covered: General Surgery, Orthopedics, GI, Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, Thoracic, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Plastics, and Minimal Pediatric ENT Not Included: No Trauma, No Cardiac, No OB, No Open Heads Techniques: General, Spinal, Basic Regional, and Neuro-Axial Anesthesia Physicians currently perform all epidurals, blocks, and regional procedures (CRNAs may be included as model evolves).
