Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Heavy Equipment Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing regular maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on a variety of heavy machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with heavy equipment, strong problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on heavy equipment
• Conduct regular inspections to identify wear, defects, and potential breakdowns before they occur
• Service and lubricate machines, change fluids, filters, belts, and other components
• Diagnose minor mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and perform light repairs
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs performed
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safe operation of equipment
• Work closely with operators and other maintenance personnel to ensure equipment is functioning optimally
• Report any major mechanical issues to the Service Manager
• Maintain a clean and organized work truck, adhering to company safety and environmental policies
