Job Summary
Position: Senior Executive Recruiting Consultant (Recruiter‑Executives I) – full‑time, exempt, FTE 1.00. Location: Athens, Georgia. Work Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Posted 12/02/2025, open until filled. Salary: $55,000 (announced). Proposed starting date: 02/01/2026.
Position Overview
The Senior Executive Recruiting Consultant will be a senior member of the Recruiting Team, managing the executive search process for senior administration and faculty positions. The role requires discretion, judgment, and strong communication skills, serving as a coach and mentor to team members while attracting innovative leaders for key positions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
At least 2 years of recruiting or sales experience in a high‑call‑volume environment.
At least 2 years of experience in a higher education institution.
Responsibilities
Research and identify qualified candidates through peer institutions, associations, nominations, and subject‑matter experts.
Continuously outreach to top prospective talent via email, phone, and other strategic communications.
Develop and oversee messaging documents and marketing materials for candidate outreach.
Maintain and update the Recruitment Templates Folder.
Prepare recruitment reporting for the UGA Search Group Director and Assistant Director.
Interact with senior faculty and administration to align strategy, provide recruitment information, and facilitate search committee and interview meetings.
Build and maintain relationships with hiring authorities, search chairs, and committee members.
Coach, mentor, and train Recruiting Team members on best practices and SOPs.
Escort candidates on campus and support the search process.
Provide professional consultation on executive search and related HR issues.
