A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)
The O&M Asset Integrity Project Manager plays a keyrole in supporting Siemens Energy’s operational excellence across its O&Mplants in North and South America. Operating through the O&M Back Office,this role works closely with remotely located sites to ensure asset integrityand efficient performance!
This position requires close collaboration with internaldepartments, including Siemens Energy Engineering, EHS, Quality, Long-TermPrograms, Procurement, and key external vendors and service providers. TheProject Manager leads cross-functional teams to deliver effective ComputerizedMaintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) tools,and related information systems!
How You’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)
Leadthe implementation of a new strategic CMMS software initiative to replaceMainsaver, evaluating and deploying outstanding solutions such as SiemensEnergy Omnivise (BFS++), IBM Maximo, and IFS Ultimo.
Collaboratein the decision-making process to identify efficient EAM/CMMS solutionstailored to customer needs, bringing an ambitious attitude to new servicebusiness opportunities.
Managecross-functional teams, including Siemens Energy personnel and externalcontractors, to establish the organization as the preferred O&MEAM/CMMS service provider.
Leadall aspects of the development of BI visualization tools and dashboards,ensuring data-driven insights support operational and strategicobjectives.
Coordinateand maintain CMMS Asset Lists using Tag IDs, KKS, and P&ID protocols,and ensure alignment with implementation and system requirements.
Supportsystem administration and compliance by maintaining departmentalprocedures, managing procurement processes through SAP, and ensuringeffective use of Siemens standard tools (PCM, SAP, WRIT, FFP, SABASOFT,IDEA, etc.).
What You Bring (requirements) Bachelor’sdegree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalentexperience.
10+years of experience in a complex business environment, with a deepunderstanding of Combined Cycle Power Plant operations, maintenancemanagement, and plant engineering processes.
Provenexperience leading teams in the implementation of new process tools and ITsystems.
Strongleadership abilities in multi-functional environments.
Effectivecommunication and presentation skills.
Excellentknowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
Theposition requires extended working hours, varied shifts, andweekend/holiday work depending on plant needs.
25%travel, including onsite presence during outages, special projects, andcustomer meetings, often with short notice.
Applicantsmust be legally authorized for employment in the United States withoutneed for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. SiemensEnergy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible forinternal transfers.
