HR & Operations Coordinator
supports the day-to-day execution of HR and operational tasks, reporting to the HR Manager. This is an ideal role for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow in human resources and operations. The Coordinator will help ensure smooth recruitment, onboarding, administrative processes, and internal office operations, while supporting the HR Manager on key projects. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain experience across both HR and operations in a fast-paced, growing organization. Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Support Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling Prepare offer letters and coordinate background checks for new hires Support the onboarding process, including preparing welcome packets, scheduling orientation, and tracking new hire documents Maintain up-to-date HR records and assist with digital file organization Support the HR Manager in tracking PTO and sick leave in compliance with NYSSL and company policy Enter and update data in HRIS and ATS systems under direction of the HR Manager Respond to routine employee questions (e.g., time-off process, benefits contacts) and escalate policy or compliance issues as needed Assist in gathering and organizing documentation for compliance reviews and audits Operations & Administrative Support Coordinate daily office logistics and support general workplace organization Monitor supply inventory and coordinate facility or vendor needs Schedule internal meetings, training sessions, and external partner events Maintain organized digital and physical document systems Track recurring operational tasks and ensure completion Assist in preparing operational reports and documentation QualificationsEducation High school diploma or equivalent required Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Experience 1–2 years of experience in HR, recruiting support, or office coordination Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace Able to handle sensitive information with discretion Experience with HRIS or ATS systems is a plus Willingness to learn, take initiative, and support cross-functional tasks Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to follow-through Maintains a professional, business-casual appearance and demeanor Adapts to changing needs and takes initiative to support team priorities Demonstrates reliability, integrity, and a high standard of personal accountability Job Type:
