Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs across manufacturing operations.
Manage procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management for raw materials and components.
Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet production demands while minimizing waste and carrying costs.
Coordinate logistics for inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain to enhance performance, reduce lead times, and improve reliability.
Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring continuity of supply for critical manufacturing components and materials.
Collaborate with production, sales, and engineering teams to forecast demand and align supply chain activities with manufacturing schedules.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning software.
Strong understanding and application of inventory management, logistics, and procurement best practices.
Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with a track record of driving process improvements.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
Experience with advanced supply chain planning and optimization software (e.g., Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, O9 Solutions)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Proficiency in a second language relevant to global supply chains (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish, German)
