Our client, a major hedge fund managing tens of billions in AUM, seeks a mid‑career Healthcare Analyst for its fundamental equities division.
Your focus will be US non‑therapeutics, broadly defined across life sciences tools & diagnostics, MedTech and healthcare services.
The fundamental equities division invests Single Manager L/S style, and this is a unique opportunity to do long‑duration, high‑conviction, deep‑dive investment with an experienced team of Tier 1 pedigree.
About you
Proven specialism in Healthcare Equities (esp. Non Therapeutics), ideally in a buyside setting (L/S, LO and PE backgrounds will be considered).
Sellside Equity Research candidates will be considered if they have covered the space in depth for at least 4 years on a high‑performing team.
Strong critical thinking and deep analytical skills are vital, as well as a capacity to independently generate investment ideas.
Polished communication skills also vital for working collaboratively with teams across multiple sector specialisms.
Package
Compensation is primarily loaded on to the annual performance‑related component.
Base salary ranging from 180,000 to 260,000 USD dependent on experience.

Relocation costs covered within the United States.
