Join 2 Hour Learning as the Director of Operations & Automation. In this role, you will drive rapid school expansion through AI-native systems, ensuring precision, reliability, and high‑tempo execution.
Base pay range $100.00/hr - $100.00/hr
Operations Overview Operations is the foundation of everything we do. At 2 Hour Learning, our AI-native K‑12 School Network runs on the strength of campus operations. Your work will support expansion by mastering five operational domains: Authorization & Permitting, Build‑Out & Maintenance, IT Setup, Financial Operations, and PMO.
Key Responsibilities
Own one strategic operations pillar (Authorization, Build‑Out, Platforms, Finance, or PMO).
Address domain challenges using AI tools, workflow automation, and iterative testing.
Create detailed specs, dashboards, or operational guides applicable to multiple campuses.
Engage directly with contractors, regulatory bodies, technology platforms, and campus staff.
Visit sites as needed to deploy or validate solutions.
What You Won’t Be Doing
Depend on product/engineering to build operational tools—you’ll prototype and automate.
Generate generic SOPs with AI without real functionality.
Operate exclusively from headquarters—travel and on‑site implementation expected.
Delegate execution—own strategy and delivery end‑to‑end.
Basic Requirements
Located in North America; travel 25‑75%.
5+ years in high‑velocity, high‑autonomy operational roles.
Excellent analytical capabilities and written communication.
Action‑oriented mindset, collaborative approach, full accountability.
Background in regulatory compliance, facilities development, SaaS implementation, FP&A, or technology vendor oversight.
Leverage AI intuitively and routinely across applications.
History of creating automation, systematizing processes, and exploring practical solutions.
Demonstrated ability to quickly gain expertise in complex domains (legal, financial, compliance, technical systems, etc.).

Compensation & Employment This is a full‑time, long‑term position. The compensation level is $100/hr, which equates to $200,000/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. The position is contractor of record through Crossover.
