Job Summary Houston Christian University seeks adjunct faculty in Accounting for the Archie W. Dunham College of Business. The college is building a roster of adjunct faculty to support our growing undergraduate and graduate business programs. Candidates must be able to teach residential classes at our Houston campus, with daytime and evening classes available. Residential adjunct faculty can also teach online and hybrid format classes.
Job Responsibilities
Provide excellent teaching to undergraduate or graduate students in a variety of delivery formats (face‑to‑face, online, hybrid).
Actively integrate the Christian faith in teaching.
Courses are delivered in face‑to‑face, online, and hybrid formats. The College offers the following degrees: Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Human Resource Management, Master of Science in Leadership, and Master of Science in Management & Entrepreneurship.
Qualifications
A PhD or DBA from an AACSB‑ or ACBSP‑accredited university in the desired teaching discipline.
Candidates without a terminal degree who are master’s qualified with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the desired field may be considered.
Candidates without prior university‑level teaching experience must have exceptional professional and academic qualifications.
Professional experience in the teaching discipline is an advantage.
