Executive Vice President of Business Development, United States Location: New York, United States

Role Overview:

We are looking for a commercially driven executive with deep experience in digital advertising, media, or marketing technology—someone who can immediately impact revenue by bringing strong industry relationships and an active book of business. This role is heavily focused on new client acquisition, market expansion, and building long-term partnerships with brands, agencies, and technology partners. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to drive net-new business while also leading a small but growing sales and operations team. This leader will be responsible for shaping the U.S. strategy, scaling commercial efforts, and establishing a strong market presence. Our client needs someone who enjoys the start-up sphere, who has a can-do, roll up your sleeves mentality and wants to take the reins and run.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic commercial plan to drive revenue growth and market expansion in North America.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiating and closing high-value deals.

Build and maintain strong relationships with brands, media agencies, and key industry stakeholders.

Represent at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Lead, mentor, and grow a small but dynamic team with the potential for future expansion.

Oversee campaign execution, working closely with the operations and adtech teams to guarantee efficiency and performance.

Collaborate with marketing, product, and technology teams to align sales efforts with company objectives.

Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.

Provide senior leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations to drive business success.

Ensure a smooth execution of all commercial and operational processes in the region.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in sales, with a strong background in media solutions for agencies and advertisers. Ad sales is a plus.

Experience working in agencies SMB - Enterprise.

Have a confident book of business to tap into - media agencies and brands.

Ideally have a strong understanding of the US digital advertising ecosystem, including media agencies, ad buying processes, and key industry players.

Proven track record in sales and business development across digital, tech, or advertising-related environments.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading sales and operations teams.

Ideally experience managing P&L responsibilities and driving regional growth.
