Responsibilities
Mentor and lead inspections and orientations, identify hazards and corrections, and exemplify health and safety practices.
Coordinate with superintendent on workforce planning.
Maintain project document control and procedures, support project engineers and/or superintendents to lead trade contractors, including RFIs, shop drawings, changes, and billings.
Supervise self‑perform scopes, resolve crew sizes, labor tracking, and quantity tracking for Labor Cost Reports.
Mentor and coach field engineers and students/interns.
Identify onsite issues within defined work scopes.
Coordinate third‑party inspections and site reviews.
Participate in crafting, implementing, and supervising quality plan, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
Develop and maintain positive relationships with all partners.
Qualifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical trade certification with equivalent experience.
0 to 8‑12 months of varied experience as field engineer/coordinator preferred; internship experience may count.
Knowledge of construction specifications, methods, and procedures (e.g., formwork, self‑perform work, subcontracted scopes, temporary work, equipment, scheduling).
Understanding and application of construction principles to problem‑solve.
Effective verbal and written communication with supervisors, subcontractors, and reporters.
Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to write clear technical communication to trade contractors, designers, and inspectors.
Develop and maintain effective partner relationships.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction‑related software.
The estimated salary range for this role is
$66,900.00 – $100,300.00 , based on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed in a personalized offer.
