Responsibilities As a Home Inspector, you’ll understand Orkin’s products and services, sell them to various industries, recommend solutions to new and existing businesses, and build trusted relationships.

What you will…

Serve as a problem solver by using in‑depth training to decide on the best overall pest solution for each customer.

Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.

Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.

Conduct an inspection of the interior and exterior of the client’s commercial property – we teach you how!

Make recommendations based on inspection findings, address questions, explain process, and set expectations.

Use the iPad we provide to prepare sales agreements and stay organized.

Qualifications

Sales experience required.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Valid driver’s license required.

Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).

Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.

Physical Job Requirements

Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.

Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc., including ability to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Wear personal protective equipment (PPE); sometimes requires an OSHA‑compliant respirator.

Willing to work in different weather conditions.
