Acara Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Plainview, NY for a full-time direct-hire opportunity.
$170,000-200,000 salary
10% bonus
9x80 work schedule
100% onsite role
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will provide strategic leadership to optimize production processes, drive efficiency, and ensure consistent quality. This role focuses on developing and mentoring teams, fostering performance, and achieving organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Manufacturing Engineering personnel, providing guidance and mentorship.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance with aerospace standards.
Drive productivity initiatives for labor and equipment.
Monitor performance through key metrics and ensure financial targets are met.
Manage Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities.
Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager within electronics.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
Hands‑on experience with PCBA surface‑mount technology (SMT) processes.
Microelectronics assembly experience (high‑reliability applications).
Electrical engineering testing experience for electromagnetic assemblies.
Proven ability to drive KPIs, including productivity, yield, efficiency, and scrap reduction.
Demonstrated success improving gross margin and overall operational performance.
