Title: Credit Officer I-IV
Location: 1130 North Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80909
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Employee Type: Exempt Full-Time
Hiring Pay Ranges: $50,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
Credit Officer I: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00
Credit Officer II: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00
Credit Officer III: $70,000.00 - $97,500.00
Credit Officer IV: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00
The hiring pay range is commensurate with relevant experience and education.
Summary ANB Bank Credit Officers are leaders of our credit‑related operations teams, directly supporting our banking centers in loan production and relationship management while managing risk in the credit portfolio. Our officers also actively participate in leadership positions within the bank and in our local communities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee hiring, training, and development of the team.
Maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory loan compliance, state laws, bank credit policy, internal procedures, and consumer disclosures including TILA/RESPA, HMDA, TRID, Reg B and other overlapping compliance areas.
Act as a resource for loan documentation, ensuring compliance with state laws, regulations, and bank policies.
Assist internal customers with loan‑related problems, changes, and inquiries, ensuring their needs are satisfied.
Manage projects focused on monitoring functions to ensure accuracy and quality throughout the loan life cycle.
Ensure the team meets or exceeds performance goals and service level objectives.
Develop and refine processes and procedures to streamline workflow management.
Maintain current knowledge and compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and other banking regulations.
Maintain confidentiality and deliver quality service as defined by department standards.
Support the company’s mission, vision, and values.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Credit Officer I Qualifications
1–3 years of loan review, commercial lending, credit analysis, or related experience required.
Proven skills in relationship building, management, and team leadership.
Preferred four‑year college or university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Credit Officer II Qualifications
2–5 years of loan review, commercial lending, credit analysis, or related experience required.
Proven skills in relationship building, management, and team leadership.
1–2 years of direct experience in a similar managerial role.
Preferred four‑year college or university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Credit Officer III Qualifications
5–7 years of loan review, commercial lending, and credit analysis or related experience required.
Proven skills in relationship building, management, and team leadership.
2–5 years of direct experience in a similar managerial role.
Preferred four‑year college or university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Credit Officer IV Qualifications
7+ years of loan review, commercial lending, credit analysis or related experience required.
Proven skills in relationship building, management, and team leadership.
5+ years of direct experience in a similar managerial role.
Preferred four‑year college or university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
