Workday Finance Systems, Senior Manager BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Senior Manager, Workday Finance Systems.

Location:

This position can be based remotely or at our Pennsauken, NJ Global Support Center. Occasional travel required for team meetings, trainings, and conferences.

Primary Responsibilities

System Configuration and Customization:

Configure and customize Workday Financials modules to align with business requirements, including setting up AP processes, expense policies, accounting rules, financial reporting structures, inventory management workflows, procurement processes, and consolidation methodologies.

Develop and implement custom solutions within Workday, including reports, dashboards, calculated fields, integrations, and business process configurations, to capture data, automate workflows, and improve efficiency.

Integration and Data Management:

Manage integrations between Workday Financials and other internal and external systems such as Practice Management systems, banking platforms, and third‑party applications to ensure seamless data exchange and integrity.

Monitor data migration and conversion activities to ensure accurate and timely transfer of financial data between systems through cleansing, transformation, and validation.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

Lead testing efforts for Workday Financials configurations and customizations, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate functionality and adherence to business requirements and best practices.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address any issues or defects identified during the testing process, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.

Support and Maintenance:

Analyze and understand financial data within reporting to provide expert‑level support to end‑users and stakeholders on Workday Financials functionality, troubleshoot issues, resolve incidents, and answer inquiries efficiently.

Proactively monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to optimize system stability, reliability, and performance.

Support Workday feature release updates and enhancements.

Perform security maintenance in collaboration with stakeholders to define security roles, access controls, and permission sets, ensuring appropriate data security and segregation of duties.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals to support system implementation, maintenance, and training activities.

Conduct knowledge sharing sessions and training workshops to educate end‑users and stakeholders on Workday Financials best practices, tips, and tricks.

Liaise with the Workday user community to access best practices and bring them to business users.

Recommend system enhancements and packages that advance technology, automate processes, add value, and align with the company’s goals and culture.

Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job dimensions and attributes as defined in the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff.

Perform related duties, or as required or requested by supervisor.

Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way.

Develop working knowledge of BAYADA’s mission, services, people, organization, policies, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Workday Financials certification(s) preferred.

Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Four‑year college degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.

Five or more years of hands‑on experience configuring, customizing, and supporting Workday Financials modules, focusing on AP, Expenses, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Inventory Management, Procurement, and Consolidation.

Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within Workday.

Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, EIBs, Core Connectors, and other Workday development tools and technologies.

Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills with keen attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality solutions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Proven ability to perform at a high level within finance organizations with strong relationship and technical skills.

Acceptable pre‑employment assessment results.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Competitive Pay

Base Salary: $130,000 – $160,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, geographic location, and internal equity. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered.

Bonus opportunity up to 12% of base salary.
