Job Overview Senior Speech Language Pathologist – Part‑time (8 hour day shift) at Providence Mission Hospital, Mission Viejo, CA.

Responsibilities
Direct patient care in assigned areas, including evaluation, assessment, and treatment planning based on functional needs.
Program development, evaluation of patient response, and readjustment of treatment plans as required.
Serve as a program resource and mentor for staff and students.
Consultation, education, critical inquiry, and administrative duties.
Coordinate educational programs for patients, families, peers, and the community; liaise with physicians and other health professionals.
Participate in competency programs and contribute to organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Communicative Disorders or Graduate of a Speech‑Language & Audiology program.
California Speech‑Language Pathologist License upon hire.
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification upon hire.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a practicing therapist.
Experience as a clinical instructor for interns and students, including presenting services to staff and students.
Completed a project or special assignment that expanded beyond the program (e.g., facility or community‑wide).
Participation in at least one community service event within the past year.
Preferred Qualifications
ASHA membership upon hire.
Clinical specialization certification related to area of practice upon hire.
Benefits and Compensation Pay Range: $49.40 – $76.68 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call pay, overtime, premiums, extra‑shift incentives, or bonuses.
