Our team offers ABA, Speech, Occupational, Social Work, Physical therapy, and Special Education/SEIT services to children and families across the metro New York area, Virginia/DC area, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut and Delaware.
Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Speech Language Pathologist
to join our team. You will have a flexible schedule that meets your needs and will make a difference in the lives of our children and families. Location:

Responsibilities
Conduct developmental screening/assessment, speech therapy services and consultation with family members and other professionals
Educate family members and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate involvement and carry-over in community settings
Work in clinic-based settings
Follow Individualized Service Plan, plan ongoing treatment, and interpret goals and treatment plan to parents and make recommendations for further developmental assessments as needed
Participate in monthly agency staff meetings
Prepare progress reports at six-month intervals and annual reviews
Maintain client records and submit them to the agency within established deadlines
Other duties assigned by immediate supervisor within scope of work
Requirements
Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
1-2 years of experience working with children age birth to 21 is preferred; training new graduates is welcome
Must possess a VA state license to practice Speech Therapy
Fluency in a language other than English is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to travel to and from assigned cases (driving personal vehicle, walking, public transportation)
Ability to ascend and descend staircases
Ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
Ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time
Compensation and Sign‑On Bonus Compensation depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview process. $5,000 sign‑on bonus for full-time; $2,000 sign‑on bonus for part-time.
