Are you passionate about transforming complex data into powerful digital experiences? Our client is looking for an Information Architect to shape the way product data drives digital and e-commerce platforms. You’ll take the lead on creating taxonomy and ontology frameworks, implementing data governance programs, and turning expert knowledge into actionable, production-ready data.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with Product Management, Content, UX, Analytics, and Senior Leadership to design and execute data strategies that enhance operational efficiency, improve user engagement, and fuel AI and ML initiatives. Your work will directly impact millions of users across large-scale digital ecosystems — making information easier to find, more reliable, and more insightful.

This is a fully remote role in an Agile, collaborative environment where your expertise will be valued, and your impact will be visible across the organization.

What You’ll Do

Lead the development and implementation of Digital Information Architecture strategies, including data models, reference data, normalization, taxonomies/ontologies, metadata schemas, lineage maps, and systems of record.

Translate user, governance, and analytics/ML requirements into actionable data architecture solutions that drive engagement, trust, and insight.

Establish and maintain metadata and specification governance in partnership with Content, Product, and Merchandising teams.

Collaborate across functions to align architecture strategies with digital initiatives, e-commerce goals, and AI/ML-powered solutions.

Apply best practices in product data governance to ensure data is discoverable, high-quality, and strategically aligned.

Support AI/ML and emerging technology initiatives such as semantic search, ML classification, and conversational AI systems.
