Job Description Infosys is seeking a Java Architect. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design; play an important role in creating high‑level design artifacts; deliver high‑quality code deliverables for a module; lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty; and be part of a learning culture where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.

Responsibilities

Interface with key stakeholders throughout the SDLC.

Design architecture and high‑level design artifacts.

Deliver high‑quality code for modules.

Lead validation for all testing types and support activities during implementation, transition, and warranty.

Collaborate within a learning culture that values teamwork, excellence, and diversity.

Required Qualifications

Located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX, Tampa, FL, or willing to relocate.

Potential travel to project locations.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.

At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

Experience with back‑end development of enterprise applications using J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

Front‑end experience primarily through AngularJS or ReactJS.

Experience with DB technologies and PL‑SQL queries using Oracle or Postgres.

Experience with ReactJS, Node.js, and WebLogic.

Knowledge of full SDLC lifecycle.

Experience with Lean/Agile development methodologies.

Authorized to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Evaluating dependencies and options through optimal technology choices and impacted systems.

Ensuring delivery alignment and compliance with domain and security aspects alongside customer business requirements.

Applying industry‑standard design patterns and frameworks, including emerging and open‑source technologies.

Guiding and reviewing team deliverables throughout the SDLC phases.

Designing and implementing measures to meet telco‑grade scalability, performance, and availability.

Assisting with high‑impact production support, defect triages, and resolution pursuits.

Representing the team as a technology champion in customer events and meetups.

Comfortable with extended periods of sitting and working at a computer.

Effective communication via telephone, email, or face‑to‑face.

Travel may be required as per job requirements.
