You Are UST is searching for a GitHub Architect who will design and maintain enterprise‑scale GitHub architecture across organizations, teams, and repositories.

The Opportunity

Enterprise Architecture & Platform Strategy

Define and enforce governance models, policy frameworks, and operating standards.

Establish and maintain GHAS (GitHub Advanced Security) baselines and secure‑by‑default templates.

Design organization‑wide branch protection, CODEOWNERS, and repository compliance strategies.

DevSecOps & CI/CD Architecture: Build and standardize CI/CD frameworks, migrate legacy tools to GitHub Actions.

Design secure, reusable pipeline templates and shared runners strategy (GitHub‑hosted and self‑hosted).

Define environment promotion models, artifact versioning, and release governance patterns.

Operational Excellence & Scalability: Design repository scalability and performance standards, including Git LFS architecture and monorepo/multirepo strategies.

What You Need

Deep hands‑on experience with GitHub Enterprise administration and architecture.

Strong expertise in DevSecOps practices, pipeline security, and secure SDLC.

Proven experience designing enterprise‑grade CI/CD frameworks.

Strong knowledge of identity and access management, SSO/SCIM integrations, and RBAC models.

Experience with audit, compliance, and governance in regulated enterprise environments.

Preferred Certifications: GitHub Administration / GitHub Advanced Security; Cloud Architect (Azure/AWS); DevSecOps / Kubernetes / Terraform.

Strategic thinking with hands‑on technical execution capability.

Excellent communication, architecture documentation, and executive presentation skills.

Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.

Proven ability to operate in large‑scale, complex enterprise environments.

Compensation Role Location: Georgia

Compensation Range: $122,000 – $183,000

Benefits Full‑time: minimum 10 days paid vacation per year, 6 days paid sick leave, 10 paid holidays, paid bereavement and jury duty leave, 401(k) matching, medical, dental, vision, and various optional benefits. Part‑time and temporary employees receive adjusted leave and benefit eligibility.
