Job Description We are seeking a Project Engineer to support our engineering and project management teams. In this role, you will perform engineering design evaluations and work to complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints. You will review industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance, while providing technical support for the engineering process. This position works under immediate supervision, following established guidelines, and serves as backup for the Project Manager when required.

Responsibilities

Participate in Invitation to Tender development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection

Assist in identification and sourcing of long lead equipment, ensuring Front End Engineering Design contractor support until equipment is assigned to the contractor

Coordinate development of capital project deliverables

Coordinate development of Functional Interaction Plan

Manage project issues resolution process

Coordinate change requests and endorse change authorization

Ensure completion of assigned work scope consistent with Project Objectives

Engage Project Team and functional resources to verify design and construction consistency with project specifications and standards

Serve as interface between Project Team and Contractor

Facilitate smooth transitions between project stages

Lead Project Management Team in applying Project Management Systems

Review reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address problems

Skills And Qualifications

BS degree in engineering field

Experience in multiple assignments in engineering, construction, and project management and controls activities

Broad range of experience and skills through multiple function and project assignments

Knowledge of design standards, specifications, and work processes

Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills

Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities

Excellent communication skills with ability to read, write, and speak fluent English

Proficiency in MS Office suite of software programs

Role Details

Location: Local to Williston, ND

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Pay: $89/hr
