Summary:

As a Senior Financial Analyst at W.W. Williams, you will play a key role in driving financial clarity and actionable insights across the organization. You will be responsible for modeling and analyzing financial data related to acquisitions, financial reporting, and operational performance. You will collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders and support strategic initiatives by delivering clear, accurate, and timely data—culminating in insights that inform Board-level decisions. This is a high‑impact role supporting corporate finance, M&A, and operational performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Mergers & Acquisitions

Compile and analyze financial data from potential acquisition targets, including historical and projected financial statements.

Build financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) to support valuation, scenario planning, and investment decisions.

Ensure data aligns with company standards and GAAP and supports bank and ownership due diligence processes.

Support the development of presentation materials for banks, executive leadership, and ownership groups.

Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis to support the M&A pipeline and integration planning.

Financial Reporting

Assist with the consolidation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Analyze variances, identify trends, and develop KPIs to support internal reporting needs.

Collaborate with operational teams to gather and validate data used in reports, dashboards, and forecasts.

Support the preparation and update of forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.

Help develop automated tools and templates to increase efficiency and improve accuracy of reporting.

Operational & Strategic Support

Work closely with the CFO, Corporate Controller, and FP&A Manager to deliver data that supports operational decision‑making.

Maintain and improve existing financial models and dashboards used in close processes, board presentations, and business planning.

Lead or contribute to special projects related to cost analysis, revenue enhancement, or margin improvement initiatives.

Assist in standardizing and professionalizing reporting systems, tools, and processes across the finance team.

Qualifications Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; 3‑5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or M&A.

Language Ability

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, financial statements or governmental regulations. Ability to write concise reports and business correspondence. Ability to develop presentations and effectively present information to coworkers and managers. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Math Ability

Ability to accurately calculate and convey figures and amounts associated with financial statements and presentations. Solid understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, and establish facts. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Computer Skills

Expert user of Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Ability to create and work with complex pivot tables and interact with HRIS and ERP systems.

Work Environment

Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Various tasks described include sitting, handling, reaching, talking, hearing, walking, standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and specific vision requirements.
