We are seeking a
Structural Engineer (Building)
to join our team! Work will include the design of commercial, retail, residential, institutional and federal buildings in concrete, structural steel, masonry and wood.
Responsibilities
Project Management
Design and production of construction documents
Supervision of junior engineers
Go out into the field as needed to observe construction and ensure drawings are being followed appropriately
Maintain excellent records on progress and projects handled
Qualifications
Bachelors or higher in Structural Engineering desired
Must hold current Hawaii license or be willing to obtain
Experience with ETABS, SAP, RAM, and Revit Structure modeling a plus
Experience with earthquake and hurricane building assessment and retrofit design a plus
The ability to work well both independently and within a team
