In this position, you will play a key role in operational and process improvement within Amazon Web Services, where we have a history and tradition of innovative technologies and services. Reporting to the Data Center Community (DCC) organization, you will have the opportunity to partner across the global AWS Infrastructure Services organization to shape the future of the AWS profile and tempo to which we deliver.
Data Center Community is growing the One-Intake Program team function in scale and complexity in order to deliver NPI Readiness Milestones On Time for New Products to meet customer business requirements. The team is seeking a highly-skilled & driven Technical Program Manager who will help drive the team toward our mission of building durable and reliable data-informed processes within AWS Infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience managing global Infrastructure projects/programs; developing, monitoring, and reporting project/program health metrics; leading cross-functional teams; developing and implementing change management plans; training and mentoring performance; and driving position readiness improvement. As a Technical Program Manager within this team focused on new product launch preparation, you will work with cross-organizational teams from Services, Hardware Engineering, Network Engineering, Software development, Capacity Planning and Data Center Operation teams to prepare for new product end to end launch readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Lead planning, execution, and delivery tasks of multiple project/programs simultaneously
Determine process health metrics and key performance indicators and develop data visualization reports illustrating process health.
Identify process improvement opportunities and gather user requirements with key internal customers.
Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions
Develop standard operating procedures, change/communication plans, and project/program-level status updates
Drive adoption with internal customers through effective change management
Anticipate potential issues and risks, and elevate appropriately and in a timely manner
Remain flexible to changing priorities and open to new ideas
Keep the customer experience as the primary focus
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)
Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with new product introduction (NPI) and process improvement

Compensation for this position varies by geographic market. Base pay ranges from $114,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,500/year in our highest geographic market. Additional compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and other benefits.
