Swiss CNC Programmer

Contract to Hire
Hourly Rate:
$35–$45/hr (based on experience)
Responsibilities
Develop and optimize programs for Swiss‑style CNC lathes
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC equipment
Create programs from engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD models
Perform equipment maintenance and ensure tight tolerances in production
Inspect finished parts and ensure all quality standards are met
Document programs, tooling setups, and procedures
Train and mentor junior programmers and operators
Collaborate with engineers and production teams
Requirements
High school diploma required (technical/trade school or associate’s in manufacturing preferred)
3–5 years of Swiss CNC programming experience
Skilled in CNC set‑up, troubleshooting, and machine operation
Experience with M‑ and G‑code, CAD/CAM CNC software (Partmaker, TB Deco, SilviExpert a plus)
Experience in high‑volume, high‑precision environments (medical device experience preferred)
Strong communication and documentation skills
