Position Overview Under broad supervision, the IT Project Manager leads multiple technical projects from initial definition through delivery. This role partners closely with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment, documentation accuracy, and adherence to established infrastructure and software best practices. The ideal candidate can independently manage large, complex initiatives with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, clients, and vendors on planning, presentations, and communications.
Apply Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) within a hybrid environment while supporting Waterfall tracking requirements.
Analyze and respond to internal/external communications to maintain clear project visibility.
Prepare meeting agendas, project charters, kickoff decks, and communication plans.
Facilitate recurring project meetings and ceremonies; maintain boards and dashboards in
Jira
and
ServiceNow .
Maintain project status reports, update roadmaps, and follow standard PM structures using the integrated toolset.
Create or update process documentation, SOPs, and “how-to” guides.
Identify constraints, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Reinforce priorities, policies, and team best practices across projects.
Utilize project management tools such as
SharePoint ,
Confluence ,
Project Online ,
Jira , and
ServiceNow .
Manage and archive project documentation; generate actionable meeting notes.
Ensure clear communication channels and escalation paths for project teams.
Work onsite in the Midtown Atlanta office as required.
Required Experience
3-5 years
of IT project management in an enterprise environment.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Experience extracting scope and requirements from contractual documents.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
College coursework, degree, or applicable certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Agile).
Experience with documentation management and process improvement.
Required/Desired Skills
3 to 5 years of project management in an IT enterprise environment.
(Required)
Some college experience or applicable certifications (preferred) or college degree (preferred).
