Senior Waveform Engineer advising the Government on design choices, requirements, and technologies related to radar and communications.
Essential Job Functions
Work independently and as part of several larger teams advising the government on the waveform aspects of radar and communications systems.
Participate in systems engineering technical review process, review requirements, design, and other documentation.
Design, plan, and execute or witness testing of radar and communications systems.
Required Skills
U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements.
A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline plus 8 years of experience.
Active Secret clearance.
At least three years of experience with integration of radar or communications systems into DoD (preferably Navy) aircraft.
Familiarity with NAVAIR systems engineering processes.
Desired Skills
Master's degree in any engineering field with concentration on waveform design.
Experience with NAVAIR systems engineering processes.
