Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role as an Associate Psychotherapist based in San Diego, CA. The Associate Psychotherapist will provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions. Responsibilities include assessing clients' mental health needs, developing treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and maintaining client documentation. The role requires compassionate, evidence-based support to assist individuals through the peripartum period and the challenges of family and relationship transitions, contributing to the overall well-being of clients.
Qualifications
Strong background in Psychology, Counseling, and Mental Health
Experience or training in Relationship Counseling and supporting families during transitional periods
Knowledge of perinatal mental health and related challenges
Licensed or license-eligible to practice psychotherapy in California (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or PsyD)
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented and client-focused environment
Previous experience in peripartum or family-focused therapy is a plus
