IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Avionics Technician Depot FULL-TIME Opportunity in Honolulu, HI
Starting Salary: $92,742 - $135,268 annually (including 45% Geo Modifier)
Sign-On Bonus: $12,500
Monday - Friday Schedule
The Avionics Technician will perform duties and responsibilities supporting the company’s 14 CFR Part 145 Certified Repair Station and Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate. The role requires experience and knowledge listed in the Minimum Qualification section to ensure maintenance and alterations comply with technical data and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Current FAA Airframe Mechanic certificate (or verified work history that meets minimum requirements to obtain written approval for Airframe testing from the FAA within 6 months of hire)
Current FAA Repairmen's certificate (or verified work history that meets minimum requirements to obtain certificate within 6 months of hire)
Five (5) years field maintenance experience maintaining avionics systems in modern complex fixed‑wing and/or rotorcraft operated under an air carrier (14 CFR Part 135) certificate
Documented experience performing avionics systems installations in modern complex aircraft
Ability to efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems
Ability and willingness to gain a thorough knowledge of the company’s General Maintenance Manual, SOP Manual, and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations
Ability and willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and be on‑call 24 hours a day during the scheduled duty period assigned
Sound judgment and objectivity in critical decision‑making situations
Honesty, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant aircraft; computer skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience supporting EMS operating/maintenance bases with state‑of‑the‑art avionics and EMS medical equipment installed in fixed‑wing and rotor aircraft; must accomplish all technical and administrative functions independently with no direct supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Current FAA Airframe Mechanic certificate
FAA Repairman certificate or have held one in the past 5 years
Five (5) years fixed‑wing and/or rotorcraft avionics field maintenance experience with an EMS operator
Five (5) years of experience maintaining aircraft avionics systems working as a repairman for a 14 CFR 145 Certified Repair Station
Five (5) years of experience maintaining aircraft systems and/or avionics systems on Beechcraft, Cessna, Pilatus, and Airbus Helicopters
