Engineer, Product Design/Development (exp. req. / Sugar Hill area) Our client in the industrial solutions space is hiring an Engineer to join their team near Sugar Hill, GA. You will execute a variety of consumer-facing product development projects end-to-end and support launches, testing, and quality/production issues on existing products. Our client is looking for someone with hands‑on product design/development experience with CAD/3D design software skills (i.e. SolidWorks, etc.). This role is hands‑on with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and (at times) customers. Base pay range:

$80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Contribute to a variety of consumer‑facing product development projects through full lifecycle

Gather design inputs from sales and customers

Engage vendors to assess feasibility and manufacturability

Create 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks

Support pilot builds and product launches

Perform basic testing in the R&D shop

Troubleshoot quality and production issues on current products

Document designs, test results, and changes clearly

Coordinate tasks, milestones, and status with your lead

Collaborate across engineering and peer teams

Qualifications

Proficiency with CAD/3D design software (SolidWorks or similar) required
