Base pay range: $55.00/yr - $57.00/yr

We are seeking a
Senior Field Service Engineer
to join our client's team supporting power distribution system equipment. This role involves a significant amount of travel, providing hands on field service and technical expertise across a variety of customer sites.
What You'll Do
Installation, testing, commissioning, and startup of low and medium voltage (480V to 38kV) power distribution equipment
Troubleshooting, maintenance, training, and consulting services for clients across industrial and utility environments
Develop and implement test plans for complex protection and control relay systems including testing and troubleshooting
Work with various manufacturers’ relay systems such as SEL, GE Multilin, and others
Prepare switching procedures, Methods of Procedure (MOPs), and provide guidance on electrical safety related to scheduled and unscheduled work
Participate in both Greenfield and Brownfield installation and commissioning projects
What You'll Bring
Minimum High School Diploma or GED
10 plus years of experience with power distribution systems including low and medium voltage switchgear, protection, and automation systems
Proven experience commissioning and troubleshooting relay systems including but not limited to SEL and GE Multilin
Strong troubleshooting skills related to electrical control circuits, breakers, and high voltage equipment testing including data analysis and condition assessment
Ability and willingness to travel up to 80 percent for national field assignments
Familiarity with OSHA safety practices and commitment to working within specified safety guidelines
Valid driver's license in good standing and eligibility to participate in a company vehicle plan
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsored work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Experience with high voltage circuit breakers and SF6 gas circuit breakers
Familiarity with protection and control relays beyond the standard systems
Project management experience or use of project management software
Industry certifications such as MSHA 46 48 OSHA 30 NFPA 70E
Possession of TWIC card NETA or NICET certifications
