Rail Bridge Engineer Join to apply for the Rail Bridge Engineer role at HDR.

In the role of Rail Bridge Engineer, we'll count on you to:

Serve in a technical role, under the direction of a Project Manager

Oversee the work of EITs and Junior Project Engineers

Prepare detailed engineering designs for rail projects

Take responsibility for project involvement, ranging from site feasibility analysis to final design and through the construction phase

Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years experience in transportation design - railroad projects

Preference given to local candidates

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (example: PE or P.Eng.)

Hands‑on experience with Microstation, OpenRail Designer, AutoCAD and Civil3D

Must be able to work both independently and in a team setting

MS Office software experience

Excellent oral and written communication and project management skills

An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture
