Position Summary As a Senior Manager of Outreach and Adoption, you support the Enterprise Finance organization in achieving its goals by developing compelling content and narratives that command attention, emphasize audience‑specific benefits, and strengthen decision‑making among a multitude of stakeholders (front line financial analysts, middle managers, C‑Suite and Board of Directors). This role allows you to maintain a communication cadence that supports transparency, alignment, action and adoption of department‑led processes, priorities and initiatives such as:
Enterprise financial performance against commitments
Financial planning (monthly results, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, capital expenditures, long‑term growth projections)
Expense management standards, trends and principles
Enterprise economics and intercompany pricing
Total shareholder return
Optimization of the CVS Health finance environment (e.g., common platforms, tools, processes)
This role requires an individual with a high degree of maturity and professionalism and a comfort level of working across a matrixed team to gather subject matter details, recommend outreach options to more senior‑level colleagues, and receive and incorporate feedback in a timely manner.
Job Duties (% Time & Responsibilities)
50% – Create clear, compelling and visually strong communication products, including leadership messaging, presentations, email updates, talking points, FAQs, online content and video scripts.
30% – Manage communication objectives, timelines, deliverables and quality for major finance initiatives (e.g., corporate finance planning and value management and finance optimization), partnering with the appropriate Enterprise Finance functional lead and marshalling resources as needed through collaborative partnerships across the team and in the broader finance environment.
15% – Partner with visual and multimedia team to select the appropriate communication channel and visuals to achieve the desired communication objectives, capture attention and enhance retention of messaging/calls‑to‑action.
5% – Positively contribute to a high‑performing team environment through intellectual curiosity, engagement, shared problem solving and accountability.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience.
Willingness to travel up to 10% (including plane).
Preferred Qualifications
Previous finance communications experience in a publicly traded company.
Knowledge of change management principles.
Previous experience developing narratives and outreach as part of large‑scale change/transformation efforts.
Knowledge of healthcare, PBM, insurance industry helpful but not required.
Education Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of related professional work experience may substitute.
Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is
$82,940.00 – $182,549.00
(base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
