Charter Solutions is seeking a pragmatic, outcome-driven Enterprise Architect to lead system integration strategy and architectural design across a rapidly evolving environment. This role will define how business applications connect, scale, and operate within the new ecosystem while partnering closely with business and engineering teams. Healthcare experience is required; payer experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Build a clear strategy for integrating business applications to increase productivity and establish structure within the new environment.
Design, coordinate, and manage architectural models that enable the organization to operate more effectively and modernize technology processes.
Create comprehensive documentation outlining system structures, relationships, and interactions to support consistent communication and alignment across teams.
Develop integration models and enterprise architecture frameworks for new systems, recommending improvements to system alignment, IT processes, and operational functions.
Identify and document technology components, connectors, and relationships that drive system behavior.
Detect and resolve system and operational issues to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and processing accuracy.Provide direction on system integration and scaling, recommending approaches that enhance maintainability and operational performance.
Lead cross-functional application and engineering teams in architectural design to ensure alignment, performance, and delivery consistency.
Required Skills & Experience
Healthcare experience required; payer experience strongly preferred.
Experience with
APIs ,
streaming technologies , and
AI modeling/development/operations
is beneficial.
Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
Independent, pragmatic worker who focuses on delivering real outcomes—not an ivory-tower architect.
Proven ability to lead teams through complex integration and architecture initiatives.
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and system optimization.
