Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Business Analyst – Applications & Infrastructure
Contract role
(12‑month) in Richfield, MN. Hybrid, with Monday and Tuesday required onsite. Compensation:
$65‑70 per hour, depending on skill and experience level. Work description / Deliverables
Lead business and technical analysis for IT projects across the client. Focus areas include software upgrades, system implementations, and infrastructure enhancements. Collaborate with Client stakeholders to evaluate business processes, identify needs, and translate them into clear system requirements. Support solution design, testing, and deployment to ensure alignment with business goals. May configure systems, lead small projects, and facilitate cross‑functional teams to resolve business or technical issues. Key Responsibilities
Conducting technical analysis and system assessments to support decision‑making and ensure compatibility with existing IT environments. Gathering and documenting business and technical requirements, translating them into actionable project plans and system specifications. Developing and executing structured business readiness and change management strategies to support smooth transitions and user adoption. Mandatory Skills
Minimum five years of experience in business analysis, including process analysis, modeling and data analysis. Minimum five years of experience soliciting business and system requirements. Proven ability to:
Collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams, individually and in groups. Communicate analysis and design concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences, including through written documentation and presentations. Lead user acceptance testing.
Valid state‑issued driver’s license and reliable transportation for commuting between job sites and office locations. Desired Skills
Strong understanding of the various components/elements of a system applications. Intermediate skill level using Visio. Experience leading small projects involving other analysts, technical staff, business staff. Experience working on multiple projects at the same time. Formal training in data and process modeling. Prior experience working on a datawarehouse project. Experience preparing and evaluating Requests for Proposals for information technology initiatives. Experience planning and conducting software quality assurance/testing. Onsite Requirement
Required to be onsite twice a week on Monday’s and Tuesday’s. Other days on‑site are required to meet the needs of the project and team. General Responsibilities
Gather and define the IT Requirements with Project Stakeholders. Document current/new business processes as needed. Held accountable for the Implementation and Quality of Key IT Business Deliverables. Engage the appropriate IT and business SME’s to work on the project as necessary. Encourage teamwork and collaboration. Ensure project adherence to Client IT policies, standards and processes. Coordinate system/user acceptance testing. Apply Today
