Job Description As a trusted partner to the leadership of a Business Unit (BU), Corporate Service Integrated Workgroup, or Entity, you will champion DPR’s People strategies – from employee value proposition and workforce strategy to inclusion, change management, and employee experience. You will collaborate with leaders and coaches to create fair, inclusive environments and drive organizational effectiveness for both admin and craft workers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and drive employee engagement initiatives, organizational effectiveness, advanced compensation, workforce strategy/planning (recruit‑ment, retention, development, succession) and change management efforts.
Assist in executing and updating the organization’s culture and engagement strategy.
Execute succession planning, career development and performance management to support business outcomes.
Partner with leaders to ensure a fair, inclusive employee experience and proactively address DEI gaps.
Implement teaming strategies to promote healthy teams and up‑skill PP Advisors.
Consult on employee relations with coaches, covering the discovery to performance documentation lifecycle.
Bridge Centers of Excellence, People Operations, and Strategic Initiatives to maintain consistent practices and process improvements.
Coach and professionally develop local PP Advisors.
Utilize PP metrics for data‑driven decision making and operational efficiency.
Facilitate inclusive talent‑management initiatives supporting attraction, mentorship, retention, and advancement for all employees.
Advocate for People Practices programs, organizational values, and culture.
Collaborate with Centers of Excellence and People Operations to craft and influence the people strategy.
Coordinate with staffing leads to promote inclusive hiring practices.
Advocate for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and other employee groups to foster belonging.
Travel to jobsites and at times overnight travel for national team summits or peer‑group meetings.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Master’s degree preferred.
7–10+ years of related experience or equivalent training.
3 years of managerial or leadership experience preferred.
Construction industry experience is a plus.
Experience with consulting, organizational design, effectiveness, development, change management, and analytics preferred.
Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation, employee and union relations, performance management, regulatory environments, talent acquisition, and talent development.
Certifications
Human Resources or Talent Management certification preferred (eg, SHRM‑S/CP, Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Management, DEI, HRBP).
