We are seeking an engineer with advanced expertise in Boomi to design, develop, and maintain integrations supporting EDRAY's logistics and supply chain ecosystem. This role plays a key part in expanding and optimizing EDRAY's customer and carrier connectivity, ensuring seamless data exchange across our technology platform. It's a hands‑on position with full lifecycle ownership of Boomi integrations, from design and mapping through deployment and ongoing optimization. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain Boomi integration processes and maps connecting EDRAY systems with customer and partner platforms. Develop and manage profiles and mappings (EDI, XML, JSON, CSV) using instance identifiers for reliable integrations. Apply Groovy scripting for advanced data transformations, error handling, and automation. Perform Boomi administration, including packaging, deployment, scheduling, and environment extensions. Configure and support SFTP, FTP, and AS2 connections for secure data exchange. Design and develop API integrations using OAuth, mutual authentication, and basic authentication. Implement and support EDI integrations using standard logistics transactions (e.g., 204, 210, 214, 856). Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes, ensuring performance and reliability. Collaborate with internal teams and customers to gather requirements and deliver technical integration solutions. Promote best practices for reusable components, error handling, and performance optimization within Boomi. Mentor junior developers and contribute to integration architecture and standards. Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
4+ years of hands‑on Boomi development and administration experience. Strong expertise in mapping and transformations using EDI, XML, JSON, and CSV. Proficiency in Groovy scripting within Boomi. Experience configuring SFTP/FTP/AS2 and building API integrations. Familiarity with Boomi API Management, environment extensions, and process deployment. Knowledge of API security standards (OAuth, mutual authentication). Boomi Professional or Architect certification preferred. Desired Skills/Experience
Exposure to AWS or Azure environments supporting Boomi integrations. Understanding of EDI logistics transactions (204, 210, 214, 315, 856). Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps). Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Boomi dashboards. Physical Demands And Work Environment
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Frequently required to sit; occasionally required to stand and walk. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to talk or hear. Occasionally required to bend, twist, or climb.
