Medical Laboratory Scientist at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, CA. This position is full time and will work 8‑hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
Performs a wide variety of clinical laboratory tests classified as waived, moderate and high‑complexity tests and procedures according to established standards.
Maintains and calibrates highly scientific equipment.
Serves as a resource to others on technical questions.
Participates in QC/QA activities relative to the laboratory.
Required Qualifications
Coursework/Training and 1‑year internship in an approved Medical Technology program.
California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (to be obtained upon hire).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory in an acute‑care setting.
