Job Title: Computer Science Engineering Semester Lecturer
Department: Marion | Academic Instruction
Position Overview The Ohio State University at Marion seeks a semester lecturer to teach CSE 2221 Software Components and potentially other CSE courses in Spring 2026. Responsible for facilitation of in‑class learning activities, assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, and homework if applicable), offering of weekly office hours, submission of grades, and resolution of any ongoing student or course issues.
Performance Objectives Teaching: Develop and deliver in‑person courses, both lectures and labs. Contribute to the creation and improvement of course content.
Education and Experience Requirements
Required:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or related area.
Desired:
Teaching experience at the post‑secondary level.
Preferably:
PhD in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or related area.
