HGA is seeking a
Power Distribution Designer/Staker I
to support operations in
Brighton, CO . This Power Distribution Designer/Staker I is responsible for supporting the design and field staking of overhead and underground electric distribution lines for various utility clients.
Key Responsibilities: • Assist in the design of medium voltage distribution lines and member service lines. • Conduct field work including route planning, equipment inventory, and site analysis for new or rebuilt lines. • Work alongside senior employees in the field to support staking and design efforts. • Obtain field measurements and prepare preliminary sketches for project development. • Collect and analyze data from maps, drawings, reports, aerial photographs, and product catalogs to inform project planning. • Support client communication and coordination on specific projects.
Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or associate degree preferred. • Minimum of one year of experience in electric distribution design, surveying, or joint-use projects. • Ability to work effectively in both outdoor field conditions and office settings. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain clear communication. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Must reside within commuting distance of Brighton, CO, or be willing to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications: • Technical or associate's degree in a related field.
