Practice Specifics
Motivated, team‑player ready to build a combined Family Practice & OB/GYN team at Essentia Health’s regional medical complex.
~250 births annually at Virginia Hospital
Hospital is “Baby Friendly” and offers remote fetal monitoring.
Family Medicine physicians with surgical OB provide backup for C‑sections.
Market‑leading pay and relocation package; substantial benefits including at least 6 weeks off per year.
On‑site chronic disease management nursing support and 24/7 nurse online triage.
Multi‑specialty clinic with 9 Family Medicine physicians, 4 advanced practitioners, and integrated behavioral health, anesthesiology, dermatology, obstetrics/gynecology, occupational medicine, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, orthopedics, general surgery and visiting specialties.
Clinic offers laboratory, radiology, retail pharmacy, optical shop, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, cancer center, regional heart center with CHF clinic, and warfarin clinic.
Virginia Hospital: 30 beds, Level I nursery, Level IV trauma center, and certified stroke readiness.
Call coverage required.
EPIC integrated with Essentia system.
Location
Approx. 60 miles from Duluth, MN; 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
Service area: 30,000 residents; Virginia population: 9,000.
Compensation
$323,400 base salary; eligible for bonuses, quality incentives, or production‑based compensation.
