Job Description We’re looking for a talented
Software Engineering Manager
to lead a team responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining our class‑leading suite of Equity Management products. The chosen candidate must be a self‑starter, possess great organizational skills, and have excellent communication abilities. A proven results‑oriented person with a delivery focus and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities
Work closely with the Product teams to develop the best technical design and approach for product development.
Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed project plans and schedules; manage the day‑to‑day activities of the development team by defining, implementing, and maintaining a coherent, progressive development strategy for the product line.
Manage departmental resources, staffing, and enhance and maintain a best‑of‑class development team.
Oversee the overall systems development life cycle within an Agile‑SCRUM development process.
Deliver quality applications on‑time and on‑budget.
Manage and execute against project plans and delivery commitments.
Evolve the software development practice within the organization, including better reporting, tools, and development methodology.
Continue to build an effective development organization by driving the recruiting and hiring of new team members, developing and managing the group, and conducting performance reviews of team members.
Create and execute appropriate quality plans, project plans, test strategies, and processes for development activities in concert with business and project management efforts.
Report on the status of product quality to management, customer support, and product teams via rigorous execution of detailed plans and accurate reporting of test cases executed, bugs discovered, bugs fixed, etc.

7+ years of experience in software engineering, including a minimum of 5 years focused on data movement and API management.
3+ years of experience in a software engineering management role.
5+ years of direct customer‑facing experience, including technical discussions and solution delivery.
Proven leadership of engineering teams within the SCRUM development framework.
Hands‑on experience developing and managing SaaS applications.
Demonstrated success in project management, particularly in SaaS‑focused initiatives.
Strong technical vision with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
Deep expertise in C#, .NET, Angular, or similar object‑oriented programming languages.
Thorough understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices and methodologies.
Solid experience with modern development workflows and version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers in engineering best practices and professional growth.
