About the Role Reporting to the General Counsel, the

Chief Compliance Officer (CCO)

will lead Sprinklr’s global compliance program and serve as a key member of the legal leadership team. The CCO will be responsible for ensuring the Company meets all legal and regulatory obligations, enhancing and maintaining a scalable compliance program, and enabling innovation while mitigating risk. The CCO will serve as a key advisor to the Board of Directors, General Counsel, CEO, and executive leadership on regulatory strategy, partner closely with senior leadership across the Company, and serve as a key liaison with customers, regulators, auditors, and internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

Serve as the executive leader for all compliance‑related functions.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance program appropriate for a multinational SaaS public company, aligned with SEC, SOX, data privacy and protection, anti‑bribery and anti‑corruption, OFAC and other sanctions laws, marketing, and other public company, customer, partner, and vendor requirements.

Participate in high‑stakes negotiations, both directly and via advice and guidance provided to directly responsible legal professionals.

Embed strategic legal guidance into product development, the introduction of new products and services, marketing and advertising, vendors, and strategic third‑party partnerships to ensure ethical and compliant innovation.

Oversee and maintain a lean library of policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.

Deliver high quality training, nurture and protect an open‑reporting culture, and oversee the compliance hotline.

Lead or support investigations into potential violations or misconduct.

Partner with and report out to executive leadership and the Board to assess compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Co‑lead and contribute to Sprinklr’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) program.

Lead incident and crisis responses, coordinating appropriately with cross‑functional colleagues on investigations, breach responses, communications, and incorporate systemic improvements from lessons learned across crises.

Establish monitoring and reporting systems to proactively identify and address compliance issues.

Build and mentor a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Build and maintain the Company’s enterprise risk program and strategy, coordinating closely with colleagues across the business.

Serve as primary liaison with customers, regulators, auditors, and external counsel on compliance matters.

Product Counseling Leadership: Advice on regulatory and compliance considerations in product development, including privacy‑by‑design principles and ethical AI practices.

Data Privacy & Governance: Oversee global privacy programs, including GDPR, CCPA, and emerging data protection laws, cross‑border data transfer compliance, ensuring robust governance and risk mitigation.

AI & Emerging Technologies: Develop frameworks for responsible AI use, compliance with evolving AI regulations, and risk assessments for new technologies.

Regulatory Strategy for Innovation: Shape company‑wide approaches to regulatory engagement for new products and services, balancing innovation with compliance.

Cross‑Functional Advising: Serve as a strategic partner to product, engineering, and marketing teams on regulatory and ethical considerations.

What Makes You Qualified

JD degree and active bar membership in good standing.

10+ years of legal experience as a corporate attorney providing legal advice across a broad and varied set of subjects and matters in a software/technology environment with an international company, and/or at a law firm providing such services to clients in that environment.

Experience building and managing global legal and compliance teams.

Business‑outcome first approach that is creative and collaborative, with an appropriate risk appetite aligned to those objectives.

Excellent organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication, with great attention to detail, common sense, and a sense of humor.

Comfortable in a fast‑paced and demanding environment, able to maintain equanimity and perspective under pressure.

Prepared to contribute wherever needed.

Commitment to being a trustworthy colleague and internal partner.

Quick learner, independent work capability in a constantly changing environment, managing significant workload, and making sound decisions.

Exceptional communication skills, presenting effectively to executive leadership, the Board, and external stakeholders.

For expanded scope: 8+ years of experience advising on product counseling and regulatory issues, including data privacy and security matters, emerging technologies, AI‑related issues, and governance.
