MercyOne Medical Group - North Iowa has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician with Surgical Obstetrics to join our Algona Family Medicine practice located in Algona, Iowa.

Call for OB/hospitalist - 1:9; call for C-sections - 1:3
Full spectrum family medicine - including surgical obstetrics, ER, and hospitalist
Specialists available - including Cardiology, Urology, GI, ENT, Ortho, etc.
Lab, x-ray, sleep, MRI, CT, mammography, nuclear med, PT, RT, OT, and ER all on site
25-bed critical access hospital and primary care clinic
Affiliate of MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a Level III Trauma Center and regional referral teaching center
NHSC Site
Kossuth Regional Health Center operates a 25-bed critical access hospital, two family medicine clinics, home care, hospice and public health nursing agencies.
Candidates
BC/BE Must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible

$260,000/year base salary + production + ER coverage

Location Algona, Iowa, population 5,500, is just 2.5 hours of Des Moines and 3 hours south of Minneapolis. Algona has excellent schools, including public and parochial K-12 schools and a community college. Community amenities include an aquatic center, beautiful parks, YMCA fitness center, state park, nature center, winery, library, golf course, lake, state park, and outdoor recreation.
