is adding a per diem Gastroenterologist to the group at
NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan . Metropolitan Hospital is a full-service community hospital that provides state-of-the-art care and leading-edge technology in a modern environment. Opportunity Details
Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders, including Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and other digestive conditions.
Provide dietary and nutritional counseling, including referrals to registered dietitians, as needed.
Perform endoscopic and diagnostic procedures, including ERCP, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, upper endoscopy, duodenoscopy, gastroscopy, and barium swallow studies.
Conduct and participate in clinical research to advance knowledge of gastrointestinal diseases and treatments.
Prescribe medications and perform therapeutic interventions, including removal of polyps and other colorectal abnormalities.
