Project Description:
Our client, a leading innovator in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, is seeking a skilled C++ and Pascal Software Engineer with experience developing software that interfaces directly with hardware in a semiconductor environment. This role focuses on programming and optimizing real‑time applications for semiconductor equipment, ensuring seamless integration with factory networks and hardware components. Candidates must have hands‑on experience writing code for hardware‑software interactions and be comfortable working on‑site in a fast‑paced, high‑tech environment.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain C++ and Pascal software solutions for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Write and optimize code for hardware‑software interfacing, ensuring seamless real‑time communication between applications and semiconductor machinery.
Work closely with hardware and factory engineers to implement software solutions that enhance machine performance.
Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance system performance in real‑time factory operations.
Contribute to factory network integration and automation for semiconductor processes.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align software development with business and technical objectives.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's + in Computer Science
10+ years of programming experience, specifically in C++ and Pascal.
Strong background in hardware‑software interfacing in a semiconductor equipment environment.
Experience with real‑time factory network software and debugging in production settings.
Prior hands‑on experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with an emphasis on programming rather than hardware architecture.
