What You Will Do (Responsibilities)
Design and test novel AI solutions for real business problems.
Own full research projects end‑to‑end, from understanding business requirements to design, implementation, experimentation, and reporting.
Discuss ideas with the research team regularly and provide peer review for colleagues’ work.
Stay current with NLP and ML fields, introducing new concepts as potential solutions.
Collaborate closely with AI engineers to implement your designs into production systems.
Use suitable tools and technologies for rapid implementation and testing while considering future production requirements.
Partner with product managers and other stakeholders to discover product roadmaps.
Who You Are
Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Proven record of ML or NLP research, ideally in industry.
Knowledge of building deep‑learning neural network architectures, preferably with an NLP focus.
Ability to implement research ideas into proof‑of‑concept models.
Practical approach to researching ML solutions for business problems.
Bonus experience with LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and AI Agent Context Management.
Ideally experience with conversational AI, voice technologies, text‑to‑speech, and speech‑to‑speech.
Positive, proactive team player passionate about product discussions and helping the team deliver.
Great communication skills and fluency in English.
How do we measure success in this role?
Alignment of work with the overall product roadmap and strategic goals.
Effectiveness in collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders.
Discovery and ideation—prioritizing and championing new opportunities within the product area.
The Interview Process
Initial call with the Talent Team – 15 minutes.
Interview with one member of the Hiring Team – 45 minutes.
Take‑home technical/research challenge.
Technical interview with two scientists – 1 hour.
Final interview with a CTO or Engineering Manager/Director – 45 minutes.
