Amazon's Contingent Workforce Journeys team is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager (Technical) to lead the systems that support the onboarding of workers across 66 countries annually. In this role, you will be the product owner of vital Amazon services including the onboarding experience, access control mechanisms, and partnering with technology teams across Finance, Procurement, and Legal to give Amazonians the best tools across their contingent work journey. You will have a proven track record in managing and delivering large‑scale products serving high‑volume, compliance‑critical operations. AI is at the forefront of your work and drives your creativity. You will demonstrate business acumen and creativity in envisioning ground‑breaking concepts, fostering an environment of experimentation and innovative thinking. You will be effective in building a network across partners and business leaders inside Amazon and will demonstrate passionate customer obsession while working with peer groups to deliver on your exciting product vision.
Key Job Responsibilities
Own the product strategy and roadmap for contingent worker onboarding technology.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of AI technologies and their practical applications in product development.
Work with a dedicated engineering team delivering high‑scale, globally distributed systems with stringent compliance and security requirements.
Drive operational excellence through automation and process improvement, eliminating manual workflows and improving system efficiency.
Partner cross‑functionally with stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
Evaluate and implement third‑party technologies, including contracted machine learning tools for market‑rate analysis and worker evaluation.
Ensure compliance and security across all worker verification processes.
Product management at Amazon is inherently cross‑functional. The right candidate needs to be comfortable maneuvering through high levels of ambiguity and complex problems when data isn’t clear. Through a combination of defining new customer‑facing experiences and automation of manual work, you will drive continuous improvement in how Amazon onboards and manages contingent labor at scale.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition.
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
Experience managing technical products or online services.
Experience representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive‑level prioritization and planning.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, or QuickSight.
Experience building and driving adoption of new tools.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100 per year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200 per year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
