Position Details

Solo Practice

Hospital Employed

Procedures: EGDs, Colons, Bravo, ERCP, HALO EMR (endoscopic mucosal resection), Fecal Transplant

Out‑patient clinic visits

Call Schedule: 1/3

Working days: Monday‑Friday (8 am‑5 pm), some nights and weekends required

Responsibilities

Provide same‑day and group GI clinic services

Perform endoscopic procedures and related patient follow‑up

Maintain patient charts and billing records accurately

Participate in hospital committees and quality initiatives

Qualifications

Successful completion of an internal medicine residency and a gastroenterology fellowship program

Board eligible or board certified in gastroenterology

Unrestricted Alabama Physician License

Current BLS, ACLS, and DEA certification in Alabama
